Summary

Globalisation makes reference to the world-encompassing character of food economy, which seems to be leading us towards generalised uniformity. Such ; a globalisation is often conceived in a simplistic manner. However, it is necessary to observe the phenomenon with more attention. The Masa tribe in Northern Cameroon constitutes a good example to analyse such relationships between food and globalisation.
