SummaryThe incorporation in schools of new students proceeding from foreign immigration is quite a challenge for the educational systems in Occidental societies, both during their arrival and settlement: the challenge is to guarantee an integrating an inclusive education. In order to meet the challenge, the proposal here is to start from a multidimensional definition in which their condition as youths, their age class and generation is as relevant as their condition as immigrants.
