Summary

The new syllabus design for Secondary Education is based on social demands towards the educational system. It therefore collects the aspirations of different social groups reference to social and productive changes in qualifications and training. This article calls for an educational system that can certify professional training, qualification and competence and that facilitates a more effective and less traumatic transition from school to adult life and to the job market
