Eduardo Alonso covers the trajectory of personalities from the General Assemblies to the Spanish Parliament. Mikel Zabaleta addresses the difficulties in the dissemination of Basque nationalism in the region of Bidasoa. David Mota reviews the adventures of a double-agent Basque spy in the Second World War. Nerea Perez tackles the influence of residential neighbourhoods on the construction of the workers’ identity in Pamplona and Joseba Agirreazkuenaga analyses the work of Jose Miguel Azaola in the context of Basque historiography.  Finally in the book review section, three recently published books related to Basque historiography are reviewed.
