Summary

This text analyses the nutritional habits and types of food made by ; mountain shepherds over the last fifty years. To carry this analysis out a study has been made of the contents of some rubbish heaps near the shepherds´ huts and sheep sheds and of the information from polls carried out with the shepherds themselves.
