Summary

This volume contains three of the works presented within the "7th Symposium on Health and Society-Osasuna eta Gizartea", which took place in Donostia-San Sebastian in 2007, under the title "Health and human rights". In these works, health is analysed as an unquestionable right, and n analysis is also made of the access to health in the southern hemisphere and the exhumation of mass graves as a method to recover dignity and memory. In the section on original works and revisions, 5 articles are introduced, two of which are final works corresponding to "Research support" stipends awarded by the section during 2007. A third section "Dr. Begiristain Saria", includes the prize that corresponds to medical works in Basque, sponsored by the Medical Association of Gipuzkoa.
