This book studies the beginning of the Middle Ages in Plentzia and its district. Without the conferences by Ropero and Torrecilla, on the Physical Milieu and the relations between Gorliz and Plentzia, an analysis is made of the influences of European urban culture in the structure of the town, the new neighbourhood norms, the typology of ships and "bourgeois" occupations.
