This study analyses the initiatives which different entities in the Basque Country Autonomous Region offer with the aim of introducing young people and adults from various socio-cultural backgrounds to music by developing various kinds of activity programmes. Not only orchestras but many musical formations, bands, conservatories, schools of music, etc. have undertaken this commitment to reach the general public.
