Summary
Augustin Chaho (1811-1858) worked as a journalist, writer, historian, philosopher, philologist, etc. He left a deep mark both on Bayonne with his journal Ariel, being one of the main instigators of the February Revolution of 1848, and on Soule, his native region, where he would eventually become departmental councillor.
In collaboration with Région Aquitaine, Conseil General Pyrenees Atlantiques and the City Hall of Bayonne
