In this article, J.M. Malharin, former teacher and co-founder of Ikas, attests to Madeleine de Jauréguiberry´s activities as from the correspondence that both euskalzales maintained with regularity. She thus evokes, among other things, the Congress of European Regions in Chaillot, the Pedagogic Sessions for the Teaching of the Basque Language in 1959, the setting up of Ikas and the pedagogic records.
