Summary

This study focuses on the traditional dance of the village of Ataun in Gipuzkoa province, on the basis of a speciality scarcely developed in the Iberian peninsula: the Anthropology of Dance. The starting point is the Culture of Dance, which allows us to simultaneously contemplate the life of a people, its relationship with dance and the dance itself from a different perspective.
