Summary
This work examines the historical factors that are in the origin of the aerospace industry cluster in the Basque Country. The evolution experienced by the cluster is analysed as well as the factors on which its competitive advantage is based on. This analysis allows us to understand the current competitive advantages of the cluster and assess its durability. The study of the case of the aerospace cluster is particularly interesting for three reasons.
