Summary

The process of revitalising metropolitan Bilbao, by means of fostering collaboration between public and private initiatives has been channelled through the Bilbao Metropoli-30 association. After a decade (1991-2000) of developing infrastructures, the process continues following a clear tendency to words in intangibles, based on the people - activity of the town - appeal of the town triangle. Therefore, the objective of the town for the year 2010 has been defined as "Bilbao, the town where ideas (dreams) come true".
