Summary
The objective of this work is to reveal the political and social changes that took place between 1930 and 1940 in the municipality of Aretxabaleta (Gipuzkoa). The objective is also to contribute with the study carried out on the effects of the 1936-1939 Civil War, detailing the war-related events that took place within its territory and the sequels on its inhabitants, as well as the compilation of all the victims that suffered as a consequence of this conflict.
