Summary
By means of the present study we, in the Education section at Eusko Ikaskuntza, intend to underline the importance that men like Luis de Eleizalde had for Basque studies. By studying his political, journalistic, literary and linguistic work, we can appreciate his contribution to the progress of the Basque language and the Basque Studies Society. His literary work, which was not vast, represents the role of the organic.
