Demonic possesion appears in the Aragonese Pyrenees as an usual phenomenom from the eleventh century until the early twentieth century. The three epidemics of collective demonic possession emerged during the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries are studied and the sociocultural conditions that led to that situation.
