Summary
The village of Mutriku in Guipuzcoa is one of the oldest on the Basque coast. It received its foundational charter in 1209. Since that year, and even a long before that time, its urban layout and municipal area have built up a rich heritage, which perfectly illustrates the evolution and history of the town. It must be studied and understood if its conservation is to be guaranteed.
