Summary
Odon Apraiz Buesa (1896-1984) was a Basque language loyalist from Vitoria-Gasteiz who won the Manuel Lekuona award given by Eusko Ikaskuntza in 1984; a lifetime achievement award for his excellent work. He worked as a linguist, historian, ethnographer, etc. and thus, he is the most prolific culture author the territory of Araba ever had. He made a great contribution to science and belonged to a family that was closely linked to Eusko Ikaskuntza from the very beginning.
