Summary

This article analyses the changes that have taken place in Christmas celebrations on the basis of data gathered in the early twentieth century in Zarautz, particularly focusing on the figures of Orentzago and the Three Kings. The article describes the changes from different perspectives (religious, political, cultural, finan cial and personal) to highlight the importance of the evolution that has occurred in these celebrations.
