Summary
In the extension of the geographical area of the Sakana and other neighbouring valleys, the secular community life of its peoples has brought about a series of aspects articulated by the cyclical calendar of the local folklore festive celebrations. This is an mixture of general customary elements, particularly related to a valley or specific area of a village or neighbourhood and even then it is but a disparity of traditions. It is for this reason that we have recurred to the information of prestigious studies, oral research and direct observations of the annual festivities.
