Summary

Teacher training is crucial in order to meet education challenges. Teacher training draws on several theoretical sources, and is itself an object of research. In this issue, number 19 of the magazine Ikastaria, we will find, among others, approaches based on the logics of competencies, reflexive practice, ?realistic? teaching, activity analysis, or action research. All these proposals arise from collaborative training models, and all of them have contributed towards a change in both initial and permanent teacher training.
